My work is about visual storytelling and human nature. I work mostly from imagination using themes from popular culture - such as folk tales and songs. Humour plays an important part, and I like to create imagery that makes people think and, hopefully, create their own stories.
I graduated in Illustration from the University of Brighton in 2000 and in January 2008 I completed the MA in children's book illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.
I live in Essex by the sea and enjoy watching the container ships go by and catching the sparkle of the caravans on the other side of the estuary.
